Attachment pages

Hi,
the Pro Version works quite good for my PDF files. The only problem I have, is that in the search results for every PDF even a link to the attachment page shows up (with the same title and excerpt). The attachment page doesn´t even have a link to the file. How can I avoid this?

Could you share a link to your search results page or a screenshot? I see you have a problem with links to the file or to the attachment page and it's actually switchable in the WPFTS Settings / Search & Output / Display. Did you try that?

@epsilonadmin that's an example link https://www.scheiffele-schmiederer.de/?s=holz. Not sure about the settings you are talking about. What should I choose there?

@ibloom Okay, I see some search results. There are [PDF] that linked directly to files. Also there are other search result items.

Which ones have the problem, could you clarify, please?

@epsilonadmin The PDF Links are ok. I don´t want to have the links to the attachment pages.

Those "attachment pages" not look like usual. Do you have any plugins to upload files? Or do you create those pages manually?

@epsilonadmin To be honest... I wouldn´t know. In Yoast I have the option activated: Redirect attachment URLs to the attachment itself.
If I open the attachment page from the media library, I get a 404.
So I can access these attachment pages basically ONLY from these search results. I am quite confused, too...

It feels like some plugin is installed and it makes those duplicate pages. Could I check by myself directly on your machine using the Teamviewer session for example?
