  • Hi @advanto
First of all, please check if you have a valid license and there are no errors at the Licensing tab.

Another thing, you may be blocked access to the textmill.io domain from inside your network (this problem often happens if your website is local). The administrator of your network should help with this problem.

You also may know which exact error you have if you open any file in WP Media Library using Edit Attachment and click the "Reindex" button on that page. Please notice: how much time it spends to reindex this exact document (time longer than 1 minute may mean that you have no access to textmill.io from inside your network). Also in case the error happens, you will see the message below.

Please let me know what you investigated out to let me propose further steps.

    Thanks!

  • Hi @epsilonadmin

    Thanks for your support.
First the license we have is Active.
Second, this web is published so this is not in local machine
Third, since yesterday we have continue publishing documents and some of them are right indexed and others not.
In the case that the document is not indexed, wordpress does not show its preview.
If we try to reindex any of the documents not indexed we can see in console browser there are a 500 error code.
The lines of error log for a reindex attempt are:

Hope this information help to understand what is the issue.

  • Hi @advanto

I sent you a newer version of WPFTS Pro which should have this issue fixed.
Please install it and try to reindex one attachment. If it will be successful, then the problem is over. If no - I will need to make further research on your issue.

Please notice the error message in the Reindex block on the Edit Attachment page.

    Thanks!

  • Hi @epsilonadmin ,

The new version has worked right.
    Thank you!

    Hi @stark

Unfortunately, WPFTS does not work with PODS custom fields "from the box", so custom code exists somewhere. I think your developer used another way to add data to the search index.

We need to ask him or alternatively, I could check your code myself, it should not be too long. In this case please send me admin access to your resource using a private message.

    Thanks.

If you're not seeing this issue, my guess is that your external files are stored under the same domain as your WP instance. Our download files are accessed from a different domain. Our site is fcm.org, and the download files are served from a bitwarden.com domain.

This bug (definitely a bug!) was fixed in version 1.68.232
We made "ident" field in the new wpftsi_irules table shorter (limited from 255 to 130) to avoid VARCHAR index length overflow.

    Thanks, @lostconcerts !
