[Solved] The Astra theme does not show Smart Excerpt for files

Some users reported to me that they do not see Smart Excerpts in the search results. They are using Astra Theme. Basic Search Result looks like this:

As you can see, there are only links to PDF files instead of Smart Excerpt. Additionally, for normal posts, we can see a piece of content without any highlighting, and also shortcodes are not rendered.

Fortunately, it's very simple to fix.

You need to go to Appearance -> Customize -> Blog -> Blog / Archive and find the button that switches "Post Content" between "Full Content" and "Excerpt". You need to switch it to "Excerpt" and Publish changes.

This should help and search results become look like this:
